Measuring principle
By means of the official R5 antibodies (Codex, just like with ELISA tests), the presence of gluten is made visible by the appearance of a red stripe The strip contains 2 readout lines: a blue control line that indicates whether the test has been performed correctly and a red test line.
The principle is similar to a pregnancy test.
The R5 antibodies are prescribed for gluten-free certification. The RidaQUICK Gliadin rapid test is AOAC-OMA 2015.16 recognized.
