UV hygiene inspection and CIP validation
Various substances fluoresce when illuminated by ultraviolet (UV) light. Various substances naturally fluoresce under UV light of the correct wavelength (365 nm), such as proteins, dried fats, urine, dust, or limescale. A large UV lamp can illuminate larger surfaces, such as the inside of hoses or tanks, for quick inspection. small lamp is suitable for smaller surfaces.
In addition, UV powder can be used for CIP validations or cross-contamination or carry-over research.
