Hand hygiene training
Good hand hygiene can be vital. For example, to prevent infections in healthcare or contamination in places where food is prepared.
Yet in many situations hands are often not (properly) washed. While a good hand hygiene policy is essential in many different places.
We help with UV products for awareness, training and attention to optimal hand hygiene.

In UV training, deliberate pollution is applied with UV particles with a specific fluorescent color, such as bright red, blue or green. These are invisible to the naked eye but glow brightly under UV light. The training aims to raise awareness about hand hygiene and infection prevention in a fun, interactive and effective way.

UV lotion can be used to mark hands. The green UV particles behave just like bacteria and accumulate in the folds and grooves of the skin. The UV particles can only be removed by thorough hand washing. By illuminating the hands with a UV lamp after washing the hands, it is visible whether the hands have been washed properly and completely. This makes the hand washing technique transparent and can be improved in this way.

UV concentrate can be used for hand disinfection training. The concentrate with blue UV particles is added to regular hand disinfection or hand alcohol. After rubbing the hands with the disinfectant, UV light is used to make it visible whether all parts of the hand have been 'touched' and are completely rubbed in.
Ultraviolet (UV) light - how does it work?
Various fabrics glow when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light. UV light is invisible to the human eye, although many UV lamps have a bluish or purplish (violet) glow. All kinds of substances naturally fluoresce under UV, such as proteins, fats, urine, skin fat, paint or textiles. Dust, chemicals and limescale can also be made visible. In our training products we use non-toxic substances that glow bright blue, green or red under UV light.
There are many types of UV lamps available. The big difference is in the strength and wavelength. Lamps with a wavelength of 365nm necessary. At a higher wavelength (395nm or higher), the light is more violet in color and many substances no longer light up.
